Peoples Park Towers is an independent living retirement facility who provides rental accommodations for seniors who need minimal to moderate support with their daily lives. Our facility enables residents to live as independently as possible, with access to supportive services.
As a receptionist you will be responsible for greeting residents, clients and guests, handling our main switchboards including answering phones, opening/closing main reception and opening mail.
You will be responsible for maintaining the Reception area, common areas such as waiting areas, maintaining supplies ensuring the office is equipped, tidy and stocked to run smoothly and efficiently.
You will update and maintain various databases, and listings and prepare a variety of reports.
Most importantly, you will act as a brand ambassador and ensure that you represent Peoples Park Tower in the most professional manner.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator, personable with an upbeat and positive attitude. They will also have a genuine sense of care for our residents.
- Organized and able to prioritize work flow and events
- Must be highly confidential
- Effective with MS Office and have the ability to learn new software
- RCMP background check is required (upon offer of employment)
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Bilingualism is a requirement
