This is a temporary summer position with a possibility of leading to permanent.
We are currently seeking a full time Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeping department overseas the cleaning of various apartments, common areas and assists with the laundry department.
Responsibilities for this role include:
- Clean rooms, hallway, restrooms, elevators and common areas
- Dusting of furniture
- Delivery of newspaper
- Maintaining storage areas, stocking carts
- Prepare and deliver clean linen
Other requirements:
- Professional and friendly
- Requires standing, walking and bending
- Must be able to push cleaning cart and lift mop bucket
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Must be flexible with scheduling hours and days
- Must be able to provide RCMP background check
- Social Development check is a requirement once an offer of employment is made
- Must be fully flexible with scheduling including hours and days of the week
- Bilingualism is an asset
Hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm. There is one Saturday shift every 5 to 6 weeks.
