We are currently seeking a full time Dining Room Supervisor to join our team.
The Dining Room Supervisor oversees the organization of the dining room and banquet services 
for the Garden Terrace Dining Room and our catering clients. This role coaches and develops 
the Servers who work on their team and ensures the smooth operation of the business in the 
dining room, meeting service expectations, and customer satisfaction.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Manages team members and assists with wait staff to ensure Customer Service/ Food 
  Services
• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the dining room.
  Co-ordinate’s food requirements with residents.
  Checks regularly to ensure that the quality, consistency, and presentation of all food 
  meet with the predetermined standards.
  Ensures staff are working with a focus on Health and Safety for team members and our 
  residents.

Administration

• Reports daily to the Manager, all progress, problems, suggestions, and 
  recommendations.
• Meets regularly with the Manager to provide suggestions and recommendations.
• Prepares Dining Room employee work schedules.
• Updates food list and ensures the maintenance of sufficient stock levels.
• Managing the paperwork for the daily sales.
• Ensures the proper storage, handling and maintains inventory controls.
• Prepares (and maintains) payroll calculations, labour cost control and calculations.
• Control costs of items such as linens, china, glass, and utensils.
• Provides staff performance evaluations.
